B.Ed Distance Learning

We accept two intakes in a Year.

  • The 1st one is from January to January, the calendar year
  • And the second one is July to July, the academic year.

Eligibility:

Degree with 10+2+3 (except language degrees)

Or 10+2+4 (engineering students) completed from a recognized university.

Documents required for admission:

  • Degree Certificate copy
  • Final year mark List copy (Optional)
  • Passport copy
  • 5 passport size photos
  • Filled admission form

Course Structure:

We provide enough study materials for completing the program, like

  • Printed notes issued by the university,
  • Links to previous questions papers,
  • Links to Video classes,
  • Assignment guidelines, references etc.
  • And Tuitions on special request.

The Number of papers, assignments, records and Teacher’s training:

> 5 subjects in each year – 3 common and 2 optional subjects.

> Each paper carries 80 marks with passing marks 32

> 5 Assignments in each year – should be handwritten one and should be submitted to center before the examination.

> Each Assignment carries 20 Marks.

> Overall BEd. Passing marks is 50 with Assignments.

> During 2nd Year, the candidates have to attend a 30-day teacher’s training from any of the school and this training letter has to be attached to the exam application form.

> Have to complete 8 records during the teacher’s training period.

Examinations:

At present Muscat is the only city in Oman where the Annamalai university exams are being conducted.

Rather than Oman, applicants can choose exams centre as Chidambaram, Chennai, Delhi or any other GCC (except Qatar)

All the exams are conducted by the consent and supervision of Indian Embassy Oman.

Each exam with 3 hours duration and descriptive type based on the given syllabus.

Reference books, notes, calculator, mobile – strictly prohibited.

Exams are conducted in every January and July, according to university timetable.

Predicated Examination date:
January session (19th January – 2nd February) &
July session (19th July – 2nd August).

Muscat higher education centre will inform timetable to students after receiving the same from Annamalai University.

Result, Mark List:

Annamalai University will be publishing the results on the university website between 1-4 months after giving examinations.

University will issue separate Mark list during every session.

Final Certificate:

After getting the final year mark list and provisional certificate a separate application required (Convocation application) for the degree.

2 modes of degree applications available,

1) Normal mode.

2) Fast track

As per the university norms,

Fast track applicants will get their degree certificate within 4 – 5 months

By normal mode will get 9 – 12 months of the application.
