All the programmes of study offered by the Directorate of Distance Education of Annamalai University have the approval of the Distance Education Council – New Delhi.

The B.Ed programme has the approval of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) – New Delhi.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited Annamalai University.

Annamalai University Recognition

Established in 1929, Annamalai University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Chidambaram (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Tamil Nadu. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the University Grants Commission, India, Annamalai University (AU) is a coeducational higher education institution.
